Code Rood (also styled CODE ROOD, Dutch for "Code Red") is a network of climate activists based in the Netherlands. The activists organize large-scale civil disobedience actions in opposition to the fossil fuel industry.{{Cite web|title=Code Rood|url=https://www.patagonia.com/actionworks/grantees/code-rood/|access-date=2021-03-12|website=Patagonia Action Works|language=en-US}}
Code Rood is horizontally organized, and was inspired in part by Ende Gelände 2016, during which protestors shut down a coal mine and a coal-fired power station for a period of two days.{{Cite web|date=13 June 2017|title=Code Rood|url=https://amsterdamalternative.nl/articles/3926/code-rood|access-date=2021-03-13|website=Amsterdam Alternative}}{{Cite web|last=van de Wiel|first=Han|date=2017-06-27|title=Code Rood in de Amsterdamse haven: nee tegen kolen|trans-title=Code Rood in the port of Amsterdam: no to coal|url=https://downtoearthmagazine.nl/code-rood-legt-kolenoverslag-amsterdamse-haven-plat/|url-status=live|access-date=2021-03-13|website=Down To Earth Magazine|language=nl|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20200809075520/https://downtoearthmagazine.nl/code-rood-legt-kolenoverslag-amsterdamse-haven-plat/ |archive-date=2020-08-09 }}
