The Partnership was the chief regulator of the Standard Written Form of Cornish, an orthography that was published in 2008 with the intention of uniting the previous conflicting orthographies, and for use on road signs, in official documents, and in school examinations.[http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cornwall/7074487.stm BBC News - Breakthrough for Cornish language - 19 May 2008]

It was dissolved in 2015, and Cornwall Council became the lead organisation for promoting Cornish language,{{cite web|url=https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/media/c3npwb2l/cornish-language-strategy-2015-2025.pdf|title=Cornish Language Strategy 2015-25}} particularly through the Cornish Language Office and Akademi Kernewek.
