D110 is the main state road on the islands of Pašman and Ugljan in Croatia, connecting the towns of Preko and Tkon. From these two towns Jadrolinija ferries cross to the mainland, docking in Zadar and joining the D407 state road (from Preko) and Biograd na Moru and the D503 state road (from Tkon).{{cite web | url = http://www.jadrolinija.hr/default.aspx?lang=2 | title = Jadrolinija ferry service | date = May 11, 2010}} The road is {{convert|41.6|km|abbr=on}} long.{{cite news | newspaper = Narodne novine | language = Croatian | url = http://narodne-novine.nn.hr/clanci/sluzbeni/2010_02_17_410.html | title = Decision on categorization of public roads as state roads, county roads and local roads | date = February 17, 2010}} The two islands are connected via the Ždrelac Bridge, spanning Mali Ždrelac strait.{{cite news | newspaper = Zadarski list | language = Croatian | url = http://www.zadarskilist.hr/clanci/03042009/most-pasman-ugljan-i-prije-zadanog-roka | title = Pašman-Ugljan Bridge ahead of schedule | date = April 3, 2009}}{{cite news | newspaper = Slobodna Dalmacija | language = Croatian | url = http://www.slobodnadalmacija.hr/Zadar/tabid/73/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/59305/Default.aspx | title = Ždrelac Bridge reconnects Ugljan and Pašman | date = June 24, 2009}}

The road, as well as all other state roads in Croatia, is managed and maintained by Hrvatske ceste, a state-owned company.{{cite news | newspaper = Narodne novine | language = Croatian | url = http://narodne-novine.nn.hr/clanci/sluzbeni/2004_12_180_3130.html | title = Public Roads Act | date = December 14, 2004}}

Traffic volume

Traffic is regularly counted and reported by Hrvatske ceste (HC), operator of the road. Furthermore, the HC reports the number of vehicles using the Split – Supetar and Makarska – Sumartin ferry lines, connecting the D113 road to the D410 and the D411 state roads.{{cite web|publisher=Hrvatske ceste |url=http://www.hrvatske-ceste.hr/WEB%20-%20Legislativa/brojenje-prometa/CroDig2009.pdf |title=Traffic counting on the roadways of Croatia in 2009 – digest |date=May 1, 2010 |url-status=dead |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20110721100545/http://www.hrvatske-ceste.hr/WEB%20-%20Legislativa/brojenje-prometa/CroDig2009.pdf |archivedate=July 21, 2011 }} Substantial variations between annual (AADT) and summer (ASDT) traffic volumes are attributed to the fact that the road connects a number of island resorts.
