DC All In is an American comic book initiative spearheaded by writer Scott Snyder and writer Joshua Williamson and debuted in October 2024 by DC Comics. It is the successor of Dawn of DC, following the end of Absolute Power.{{Cite web |last=Brooke |first=David |date=2024-07-17 |title=DC Comics unveils 'DC All In' line of comics • AIPT |url=https://aiptcomics.com/2024/07/17/dc-comics-absolute-dc-all-in-line-comics/ |access-date=2024-07-17 |website=aiptcomics.com |language=en-us}}
Publication history
The DC All In initiative began with DC All In Special #1, a 64-page one-shot that was written by Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson, and illustrated by Wes Craig and Daniel Sampere. It is also a flip book issue, as one half focuses on Superman and the formation of a new Justice League, and the other focuses on Darkseid and the establishment of the Absolute Universe.{{Cite web |last=Polo |first=Susana |date=2024-07-17 |title=Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman are about to get alternate origin stories via DC's All In |url=https://www.polygon.com/24200459/dc-comics-reboot-all-in-absolute-universe-scott-snyder |access-date=2024-07-22 |website=Polygon |language=en-US}} It was also announced that Snyder would be writing Absolute Batman and that Williamson will be joined by artist Dan Mora for a new arc of Superman, which will debut a new Superwoman and herald the return of Doomsday.{{Cite web |last=Salmon |first=Will |date=2024-07-18 |title=DC Comics is going All In on new story arcs for its entire lineup including Batman and Superman this October, but stresses that it's "not a retcon or reboot" |url=https://www.gamesradar.com/comics/dc-comics/dc-monthly-comics-relaunched/ |access-date=2024-07-22 |website=gamesradar |language=en}}
In 2024, at New York Comic Con, it was announced that Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee would take over the monthly Batman title from Chip Zdarsky and Jorge Jiménez for a six-part story called Hush 2, starting in March 2025. Lee also confirmed that Scott Williams, Alex Sinclair, and Richard Starkings would return as inker, colorist, and letterer respectively for the story and that it would be part of the All-In initiative.{{Cite web |last=Luken |first=Jackson |date=2024-10-19 |title=Jim Lee and Jeph Loeb returning to Batman for "Hush 2" |url=https://batman-news.com/2024/10/19/jim-lee-jeph-loeb-hush-2/ |access-date=2024-10-19 |website=Batman News |language=en-US}}{{Cite web |title=Instagram |url=https://www.instagram.com/p/DBUlNWLSYHs/?hl=en&img_index=1 |access-date=2024-10-19 |website=www.instagram.com}}
