Daniel Fox (born 29 May 1986) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Winsford Town in the Cheshire Football League.

He represented England at under-21 international level, has since been selected for Scotland national team, making his debut in the November 2009 against Wales.

On 28 January 2008, Fox joined Coventry City in a double transfer deal (with his defensive partner Scott Dann also moving to the Ricoh Arena only 72 hours later), after agreeing personal terms and a passing a medical. Fox made his competitive debut for Celtic in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers against Dynamo Moscow. On his debut for Burnley, Fox claimed an assist and the winning goal against West Ham United on 6 February in a 2–1 home win. Personal life

Outside of football, Fox likes to relax by watching films, with comedies and thrillers are his film genre preference.
