The Taipei Metro and New Taipei Metro Dapinglin station (formerly transliterated as Ta Pinglin Station until 2003) is located in Xindian District, New Taipei, Taiwan. It is a station on the Songshan–Xindian line and the Circular line.
__NOTOC__
Circular Line construction at the station began on 8 October 2010.{{cite web|url=http://english.dorts.taipei.gov.tw/ct.asp?xItem=1345511&ctNode=15933&mp=115002|title=Groundbreaking Ceremony for Circular Line's Dapinglin Station|publisher=Department of Rapid Transit Systems|date=2010-10-20|access-date=2010-10-24|archive-date=2011-08-15|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110815192914/http://english.dorts.taipei.gov.tw/ct.asp?xItem=1345511&ctNode=15933&mp=115002|url-status=dead}}

This four-level, underground station, has two island platforms and five exits.{{cite web|url=http://web.trtc.com.tw/e/stationdetail.asp?ID=036 |title=Route Map: Dapinglin |publisher=Taipie Rapid Transit Corporation |access-date=2010-06-14 |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110902025913/http://web.trtc.com.tw/e/stationdetail.asp?ID=036 |archive-date=2011-09-02 }}
Due to the plans for the Circular line being unknown during construction of the Xindian line, there was no space reserved for the transfer to the future Circular line. This can be noted in today's transfer route at Dapinglin station, where passengers from the Songshan–Xindian line (B2) transferring to the Circular line (B4) or vice versa need to go to the concourse (B1) first before transferring to the other line,{{cite web|url=https://web.metro.taipei/img/ALL/stationprofile/036.jpg|title=Station Profile: Dapinglin}} whereas at Zhongxiao Xinsheng station, which had reserved space for transferring to the Xinzhuang line during the construction of the Nangang line, can go directly from the Nangang line (B2) to the Xinzhuang line (B3) or vice versa without having to go to the concourse (B1).{{cite web|url=https://web.metro.taipei/img/ALL/stationprofile/089.jpg|title=Station Profile: Zhongxiao Xinsheng}}
Station History
