David Hou

David Hou or Hou Hai-hsiung ({{zh|t=侯海熊}}; born 1943) is a Taiwanese politician.
Hou was elected to the Legislative Yuan in 1992 via party list proportional representation, as a member of the Democratic Progressive Party, and assumed office on 1 February 1993.{{cite news |title=David Hou (2) |url=https://www.ly.gov.tw/EngPages/List.aspx?nodeid=10840 |access-date=1 September 2021 |agency=Legislative Yuan}} He became the first sitting lawmaker affiliated with the DPP to be expelled from the party,{{cite news |title=Chiu to be punished over vice speaker poll |url=https://www.taipeitimes.com/News/taiwan/archives/2002/05/21/0000136950 |access-date=1 September 2021 |work=Taipei Times |date=21 May 2002}} and was replaced as a legislator by Chiang Peng-chien.
