The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Informative was an award presented annually by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS). The award was given in honor of a talk show that was of the informative nature. It was awarded from the 35th Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, held in 2008, to the 49th Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, held in 2022. During this period, the generic Outstanding Talk Show category was split into two specific categories: this award and Outstanding Talk Show Entertainment.{{cite web|title=The 35th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award Nominations |url=http://www.emmyonline.org/mediacenter/daytime_35th_nominations.html |work=National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences |publisher=emmyonline.org |accessdate=May 5, 2013 |date=April 30, 2008 |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20130929153549/http://www.emmyonline.org/mediacenter/daytime_35th_nominations.html |archivedate=September 29, 2013 |location=New York |url-status=dead}} In 2023, the NATAS will merge the two specific categories back into one.{{Cite web|title=50th Daytime Emmy Awards: Call for Entries|url=https://theemmys.tv/daytime/rules/|website=National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences|access-date=March 1, 2023}}
