Influences, concepts, and musical styles

{{Rquote|center|Our concept is Children create the world. Adults, who are moving the world and society now, all started out as children. As we grow up, we tend to justify escaping or compromising by making excuses. In a pure way, we want to deliver the thoughts we had as children to create a wonderful world.|Maiko about Dazzle Vision's concept, 2010{{cite web|author=Kay|title=Interview with Dazzle Vision|url=http://www.jame-world.com/us/articles-62297-interview-with-dazzle-vision-before-sakura-con-2010.html|publisher=JaME New Agency|accessdate=30 March 2012}} }}

Maiko and Takuro began the band as an outlet for creation which is a part of the band's concept. The entire concept of the band was "Children Create The World" and was also a part of their logo. Drawing on outside sources Dazzle Vision grew its style. While basic influences from Western culture have impacted the band, several famous bands such as Within Temptation, Black Sabbath, and Metallica have shaped the sound and style of Dazzle Vision.{{cite web|title=Interview with Dazzle Vision|url=http://www.jame-world.com/us/articles-62297-interview-with-dazzle-vision-before-sakura-con-2010.html|publisher=jame|accessdate=28 March 2012}}

While the band self-described themselves as Screamo-Pop,{{cite web|title=Official Facebook Page|url=http://www.facebook.com/dazzlevision2010/info|publisher=Dazzle Vision|accessdate=28 March 2012}} they branched out into many different music genres such as alternative metal,{{cite web|title=That's Rocking Awesome - Kawaii Metal|date=29 July 2016 |url=https://thatsrockingawsome.wordpress.com/2016/07/29/genre-course-kawaii-metal/}} hard rock, melodic death metal, progressive rock,{{cite web|last=Chee|first=Kathy|title=Dazzle Vision - Gliter with a bit of Scream|url=http://purpleskymagazine.com/2010/03/interview-dazzle-vision-glitter-with-a-scream/|work=purple sky magazine|accessdate=29 March 2012}} glam metal, pop, post-hardcore, screamo{{cite web|last=Mogeraed|first=Hana|title=Screamo Band Dazzle Vision in New UTAU Software|url=http://www.jame-world.com/us/news-85390-screamo-band-dazzle-vision-in-new-utau-software.html|publisher=RESONANCE Media|accessdate=30 March 2012}} and forerunners of kawaii metal. The band's albums each have a new distinct sound different from the last.
