The hamlet is located in census division No. 18.
Geography
DeBolt is located in Peace Country, {{convert|58|km|mi|abbr=on}} east from Grande Prairie and {{convert|54|km|mi|abbr=on}} west of Valleyview along Highway 43. It lies in the Smoky River valley, at an elevation of {{convert|640|m|ft|abbr=on}}.

Economy

The economy is based on agriculture, ranching and oil and gas. Forestry, logging and plywood production are other elements of the economy. Star Industries, Star Fabrication, DeBolt Contracting, P&G Kitchens, and Moore Seed are some of the main employers of the area.
Attractions
