Diplodonta punctata, or the Atlantic diplodon, is a species of bivalve mollusc in the family Ungulinidae. It can be found along the Atlantic coast of North America, ranging from North Carolina to Bermuda,Abbott, R.T. & Morris, P.A. A Field Guide to Shells: Atlantic and Gulf Coasts and the West Indies. New York: Houghton Mifflin, 1995. 46. and south to Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. The shell length can reach {{cvt|1.9|cm}}.
