Dr. Asode Ananthram Shetty is an Indian orthopaedic surgeon, scientist, and academic, widely known as A. A. Shetty in professional and academic circles. He is noted for his work in regenerative medicine and the application of stem cell research in orthopaedics.

Biography

Shetty was born on 16 June 1955 in Asodu, Kundapur, India. He completed his postgraduate training at Guy's Hospital, King's College London, and St. Thomas’s School of Medicine, London. He holds fellowships including FRCS and FACS.

He resides in Kent, UK, with his wife and daughter.
