This is a list of video game launch titles released for various video game consoles and handheld systems sorted by the release year.
Launch titles, also known as launch games, are video games that release alongside the launch of a new video game console.
Nintendo consoles
= NES =
The Nintendo Entertainment System was released in Japan as the Family Computer (Famicom) on July 15, 1983, North America on October 18, 1985, and Europe on September 1, 1986. Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros. were both featured as pack-in titles for the console and released at launch in North America. Both games are two of the best-selling video games of all time, with Super Mario Bros. being the best-selling video game on the Nintendo Entertainment System and Duck Hunt being the second-best-selling. All games released at launch were published by Nintendo, and multiple games became best-selling titles for the system.

The Game Boy was released in Japan on April 21, 1989, North America on July 31, 1989, and Europe on September 28, 1990. Tetris was featured as a pack-in title at launch, and later became the second-best-selling game on the Game Boy and one of the best-selling games of all time. All titles released at launch became best-selling games on the console, with Super Mario Land also becoming the fourth-best-selling Game Boy game.
