Samantha Lux (born 1998) is an American internet influencer. Early life

Lux was born in a small Massachusetts city. She transitioned at the age of 18.

She graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, with a degree in Communication and political sciences.

GLAAD

In 2022, Lux joined GLAAD's board of directors.

In February 9f 2025, You Tube made a move that was perceived as moving transgender people from groups protected by their anti-hate speech rules, when it revised its hate speech policy to read "Sex, gender or sexual orientation. Many LGBT advocates protested, and Lux was interviewed by The Advocate magazine, sharing her views on the issue and commenting that "The right-wing creators have gotten a lot more brave about how they talk about trans issues. If you say that you are protecting against gender, it's more like you can't discriminate against someone for being a woman.
