Sherif Sultan (born September 4, 1964) is a vascular and endovascular surgeon with three decades{{when|date=March 2025}} of experience starting his career in Dublin, Ireland in 1993. Early life and education
Sultan obtained his medical degree from Ain Shams University in 1987. He earned a master's degree in surgery in 1991, followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. In 1993, he moved to Ireland, where he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Dublin. He completed a pectoral fellowship at the Arizona Heart Institute in 1997 and received a Diploma in Endovascular Surgery from the University of Paris XII in 1998. Sultan later attained his Intercollegiate FRCS in vascular surgery in 2001 in London and was certified by the European Board of Vascular Surgery in the same year. Career
Since 2001, Sultan has been based in Galway, where he focuses on advancing vascular and endovascular surgical techniques. He leads a dedicated team of vascular and endovascular specialists in a hospital group that serves a substantial regional population.
