The Emu Bay Railway 10 class are a class of diesel-hydraulic locomotives built by Walkers Limited, Maryborough for the Emu Bay Railway between 1963 and 1966.
History

A fourth was assembled at the Tasmanian Government Railways’ Launceston Railway Workshops in April 1966.TGR to Build Diesel Loco for Emu Bay Railway, Railway Transportation, March 1965, page 5
In 1969/70, the pneumatic control gear was replaced with electro-pneumatic equipment to allow the class to operate in multiple with the 11 class. Between 1980 and 1992 all were repowered with the Caterpillar D398B as fitted to the 11 class.{{cite book|last1=Rae|first1=Lou|title=The Emu Bay Railway|date=1997|publisher=Lou Rae|location=Sandy Bay|isbn=0-9592098-6-7|pages=221, 269}}{{cite book|last=Oberg|first=Leon|title=Locomotives of Australia 1850s-2010|year=2010|publisher=Rosenberg Publishing|location=Dural|isbn=9781921719011|page=330}}
