Forgotten Silence is a Czech experimental metal band founded in Brno in 1993. Their earlier material can be described as death metal with some progressive/art rock leanings. Their 2006 release, Kro Ni Ka has a much more experimental sound to it, with very few traces of their earlier heavy sound.{{Citation needed|date=June 2022}} It won a Razor Award for best metal recording of the year.{{cite web|url=http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=71339|archive-url=https://archive.today/20120918023807/http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=71339|url-status=dead|archive-date=18 September 2012|title=Czech Metal Awards Held in Brno|date=27 April 2007|publisher=Blabbermouth.net|accessdate=13 August 2011}}
