Fort McMurray International Airport {{Airport codes|YMM|CYMM}} is an airport located in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, Alberta, Canada. It is the largest airport in northern Alberta, serving the city of Fort McMurray, as well as the surrounding area. The Fort McMurray Airport Authority was established in 2010 to manage the airport and ensure its efficient operation. Since then, the airport has undergone various developments and expansions to accommodate the increasing passenger traffic and improve facilities.
History
The airport has a rich history dating back to its early years. During World War II, the airport served as an air base for the Royal Canadian Air Force. After the war, it underwent further improvements to support civilian air travel. In 2010, the Fort McMurray Airport Authority was created, taking over the management of the airport from the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

The airport features two terminals: the main terminal and the original terminal.
