History

Fujahtive was originally formed in 1986, when all the original members were still in high school. Jamaican-born lead vocalist Winston Ho-Sang transferred from Oakwood Collegiate to Forest Hill Collegiate,{{Cite news|url=https://www.thestar.com/news/crime/raceandcrime/2010/02/06/target_winston_hosang.html|title=Target: Winston Ho-Sang|last=Welsh|first=Moira|date=February 6, 2010|work=The Toronto Star}} where he met Anthony Goldstein. They bonded over their mutual love of reggae music and decided to put a band together with members from each schools' music programs. Winston Ho-Sang's identical twin brother Wayne Ho-Sang also joined the band.
