The Gersten Pavilion is a 3,900-seat multi-purpose arena in Los Angeles, California. It is the home of the Loyola Marymount University Lions. It was built in 1981 and has been used for home games by the university's men's basketball, women's basketball, and volleyball teams since January 1982.

It was also the part-time practice home for the Los Angeles Lakers. It was the site for the weightlifting competition for the 1984 Summer Olympics.[http://www.la84foundation.org/6oic/OfficialReports/1984/1984v1pt1.pdf 1984 Summer Olympics official report.] {{webarchive |url=https://web.archive.org/web/20101102235952/http://www.la84foundation.org/6oic/OfficialReports/1984/1984v1pt1.pdf |date=November 2, 2010 }} Volume 1. Part 1. pp. 150-2. The arena will forever be linked to the events that transpired on March 4, 1990, when LMU star Hank Gathers collapsed on the court from cardiomyopathy during a West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament game and later died. The tourney was promptly suspended and LMU was awarded the NCAA bid based on their regular season title. The facility also hosted the WCC tournament in 1997.

The arena is known among LMU alumni as "Hank's House" in honor of Gathers and the phrase "This is Hank's House" is recited before the start of every men's basketball game.{{cite news |last=Drooz |first=Alan |title=As in His Life, Gathers Stirs Ovations : Memorial: Family, friends fill Gersten Pavilion to pay tribute to the late Loyola Marymount star. |date=March 7, 1990 |newspaper=Los Angeles Times |url=https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1990-03-07-sp-1960-story.html |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20220609172713/http://articles.latimes.com/print/1990-03-07/sports/sp-1960_1_gersten-pavilion |archive-date=June 9, 2022 |url-status=live }}{{cite news |last=Plaschke |first=Bill |title=Hank Gathers lives on in his house |date=January 31, 2010 |newspaper=Los Angeles Times |url=https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2010-jan-31-la-sp-plaschke31-2010jan31-story.html |archive-url=https://archive.today/20120707002653/http://articles.latimes.com/print/2010/jan/31/sports/la-sp-plaschke31-2010jan31 |archive-date=July 7, 2012 |url-status=live }}
