Gmina Bytnica is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Krosno Odrzańskie County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. Its seat is the village of Bytnica, which lies approximately {{convert|14|km|mi|0}} north of Krosno Odrzańskie, {{convert|33|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north-west of Zielona Góra, and {{convert|65|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
The gmina covers an area of {{convert|208.74|km2|sqmi|1}}, and as of 2019 its total population is 2,512.
The gmina contains part of the protected area called Gryżyna Landscape Park.
