Gmina Szczaniec is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Świebodzin County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. Its seat is the village of Szczaniec, which lies approximately {{convert|11|km|mi|0}} east of Świebodzin, {{convert|39|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north of Zielona Góra, and {{convert|60|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south-east of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
The gmina covers an area of {{convert|112.92|km2|sqmi|1}}, and as of 2019 its total population is 3,847.
