Szczaniec {{IPAc-pl|'|sz|cz|a|ń|e1|c}} is a village in Świebodzin County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Szczaniec.{{TERYT}} It lies approximately {{convert|11|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} east of Świebodzin, {{convert|39|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north of Zielona Góra, and {{convert|60|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south-east of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
