Guabito has a land area of {{convert|168.8|sqkm|sqmi}} and had a population of 8,387 as of 2010, giving it a population density of {{convert|49.7|PD/sqkm|PD/sqmi}}. Its population as of 1990 was 11,125; its population as of 2000 was 14,366.
