History
Hat Trick Productions was founded in 1986 by Rory McGrath, Jimmy Mulville,{{Cite web|url=https://rts.org.uk/article/mulville-thriving-against-long-odds|title=Mulville: Thriving against long odds|date=17 November 2014|website=Royal Television Society}} and Denise O'Donoghue.
