The Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (HPE) is an American multinational information technology company based in Spring, Texas. It is a business-focused organization which works in servers, storage, networking, containerization software and consulting and support. HPE was ranked No. 107 in the 2018 Fortune 500 list of the largest United States corporations by total revenue.{{Cite web |title=Fortune 500 Companies 2018: Who Made the List |url=http://fortune.com/fortune500/list/ |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20181110190356/http://fortune.com/fortune500/list/ |archive-date=November 10, 2018 |access-date=November 10, 2018 |website=Fortune |language=en-US}}

HPE was founded on November 1, 2015, in Palo Alto, California, as part of the splitting of the Hewlett-Packard company.{{Cite web|url=https://www.hpe.com/us/en/ww-office-locations.html |title=Office Locations HPE WW Office Locations|website=HPE|language=en-US|access-date=March 20, 2019}} The split was structured so that the former Hewlett-Packard Company would change its name to HP Inc. and spin off Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a newly created company. HP Inc. retained the old HP's personal computer and printing business, as well as its stock-price history and original NYSE ticker symbol for Hewlett-Packard; Enterprise trades under its own ticker symbol: HPE. At the time of the spin-off, HPE's revenue was slightly less than that of HP Inc.{{Cite web |title=Hewlett Packard Enterprise Revenue 2013-2019 {{!}} HPE |url=https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/HPE/hewlett-packard-enterprise/revenue |access-date=February 7, 2020 |website=Macrotrends}} The company relocated to Texas in 2020.{{Cite web |date=2020-12-03 |title=Hewlett Packard Enterprise to move headquarters to Texas |url=https://apnews.com/article/houston-california-greg-abbott-texas-1ce5ef41c6e20e84b5954de11fa3c8a7 |access-date=2025-02-27 |website=AP News |language=en}}
