Architectural style
Mr. Ho Chen received the architectural education of Beaux-Arts at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou,{{Cite journal |last=關 |first=華山 |date=August 1994 |title=一位中國「現代」的建築紳士 |journal=建築師雜誌 |volume=236 |pages=107–109}} and later he developed a keen interest in modernist architecture and formed his unique viewpoints. Beaux-Arts, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and traditional Chinese architecture had significant influence on the style of his works, which have integrated the regional features of Taiwan. His eclectic architectural style is as simple and clear as modern architecture. Meanwhile, the solemnity and simplicity of traditional architecture have remained.{{Cite journal |last=趙 |first=文紳 |date=1997 |title=現代折衷—賀陳詞之建築造型研究 |journal=國立成功大學建築(工程)學系碩士論文}}
