I, Object is an upcoming live-action animated film written, produced, and directed by Andrew Niccol.

Premise

A 10-year-old boy struggling to connect with anyone after the death of his father becomes fascinated with the everyday objects around him, and envisions himself speaking to them.

Production

It was announced in May 2023 that Andrew Niccol had set the film as his next project, which will be a live action-animation hybrid.
