Early life

Sollom was educated at King Edward VI College, Stourbridge. He gained a Master of Physics (MPhys) degree from St Hugh's College, Oxford,{{Cite web |title=Publications online |url=https://www.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/current-students/library/archive/publications-online/ |access-date=2024-07-07 |publisher=St Hugh's College |language=en-GB}} followed by a PhD in cosmology from Trinity College, Cambridge.

Career
