Idjit Savant is the fifth studio album by punk rock band The Dickies. It was released in 1995 on Triple X Records. It was jokingly referred to by singer Leonard Graves Phillips as their "best album no one's ever heard".{{cite web |url=http://www.thedickies.com/multimedia/interviews_&_articles/leonard/leonard_interview_1.htm |title=Interview with Leonard |website=www.thedickies.com |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20061120005702/http://www.thedickies.com/multimedia/interviews_&_articles/leonard/leonard_interview_1.htm |archive-date=2006-11-20}}

Although bass player Charlie Alexander played on most of the album's tracks, his sudden departure just weeks before a tour upset Phillips, and replacement Marc Vachon was credited in the liner notes instead.{{cite web |url=http://www.thedickies.com/alumni/the_players/dickies/vachon/vachon.htm |title=Marc Vachon |website=www.thedickies.com |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20061120011345/http://www.thedickies.com/alumni/the_players/dickies/vachon/vachon.htm |archive-date=2006-11-20}}

The track "Just Say Yes" had already been released as a single in 1990.Maximum Rocknroll - Issue 105 1992 " Stan executed it as only Stan could MRR: How come it took so long for the "Just Say Yes" single to come out? - We were on drugs, lazy guys on drugs. That was the only reason."
