Club career
Born in Santander, Cantabria, Bolado made his professional debut with hometown club Racing de Santander's first team in 2007–08 and scored three league goals during the season, one of them in the dying minutes of the final matchday as the team defeated CA Osasuna 1–0 at home to secure a first-ever qualification to the UEFA Cup.[https://archive.today/20130102233441/http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report/_/id/226560?cc=5739 Racing Santander 1–0 Osasuna]; ESPN Soccernet, 18 May 2008{{Cite news|url=http://www.20minutos.es/noticia/379897/0/cronica/racing/osasuna/|title=El Racing se mete por primera vez en la UEFA al ganar a Osasuna (1–0)|trans-title=Racing reach UEFA for the first time after beating Osasuna (1–0)|publisher=20 minutos|language=es|date=18 May 2008|access-date=27 March 2014|archive-date=18 May 2013|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20130518063800/http://www.20minutos.es/noticia/379897/0/cronica/racing/osasuna/|url-status=live}} His La Liga debut came on 26 August 2007, in a 0–0 home draw against FC Barcelona.[https://archive.today/20130103141032/http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report/_/id/226601?cc=5739 Racing Santander 0–0 Barcelona]; ESPN Soccernet, 26 August 2007
