Jack Shainman Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in New York City. The gallery was founded by Jack Shainman and his then-partner Claude Simard (1956{{mdash}}2014) in 1984 in Washington, D.C. History
In 1986, the gallery moved to New York to open a gallery in the East Village, followed by a move to Soho. From 1997, it was headquartered in the Chelsea gallery district.
