Education
She graduated from Republic High School in 1998. In 2002, she earned a BS in biochemistry from Colorado College. Career

On March 26 2024, Maycumber donated $5,500 to the Washington State Republican Party. Two days later, the party donated $5,000 to her Congressional campaign. The filing transfer was not initially reported as required by state law, but was filed as an amendment to Maycumber's March filings and only became public in May. On June 17, 2024, Maycumber stated that if elected to Congress, she would vote for a total nationwide abortion ban, and that she supports Idaho's "abortion trafficking" law, which criminalized those who help pregnant minors get an abortion across state lines without parental consent until it was overturned by the Supreme Court in June.
