Jim Stephenson is a former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He represented New Zealand at international level.

Stephenson made his full All Whites debut in a 0–2 loss to New Caledonia on 10 September 1951{{cite web|url=http://www.ultimatenzsoccer.com/NZRepSoccer/id1559.htm|title=A-International Lineups|author=|publisher=The Ultimate New Zealand Soccer Website|date=|accessdate=12 May 2009}} and ended his international playing career with 10 A-international caps to his credit,{{cite web|url=http://www.ultimatenzsoccer.com/NZRepSoccer/id1708.htm |title=A-International Appearances - Overall |publisher=The Ultimate New Zealand Soccer Website |accessdate=12 May 2009 |url-status=dead |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20081007054503/http://www.ultimatenzsoccer.com/NZRepSoccer/id1708.htm |archivedate= 7 October 2008 }} his final cap an appearance in a 2–2 draw with Tahiti on 21 September 1952.
