John Sharp (priest)

John Herbert Sharp (Balmuir, 1888 – London, 1950) was Archdeacon in South-Eastern Europe from 1935Ecclesiastical News. The Times (London, England), Thursday, 11 July 1935; pg. 19; Issue 47113 to 1947.
Sharp was educated at Balliol College, Oxford, and ordained in 1913. He began his career with a curacy at St Mark, South Farnborough.Crockford's Clerical Directory 1938 Oxford, OUP, 1929 After this he was at St James, Edinburgh from 1917 to 1921.{{cite book|last=Bertie|first=David M.|title=Scottish Episcopal Clergy, 1689–2000 p432|year=2000|publisher=T & T Clark|location=Edinburgh|isbn=0-567-08746-8}} He then served at Naples, Valletta, and Gibraltar before his appointment as archdeacon.
