José Alessandro Bernardo Bagio (born 16 April 1981 in Orleans, Santa Catarina) is a Brazilian race walker.{{cite Sports-Reference |title=José Alessandro Bagio |url=https://www.sports-reference.com/olympics/athletes/ba/jose-alessandro-baggio-1.html |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20161202214851/https://www.sports-reference.com/olympics/athletes/ba/jose-alessandro-baggio-1.html |archive-date=2 December 2016 |access-date=15 December 2012}} He won the gold medal for the 20,000 metres walk at the 2008 Ibero-American Championships in Iquique, Chile, with a time of 1:23:12.6.

Bagio made his official debut for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where he placed fourteenth in the men's 20 km race walk, with a time of 1:23:33. On March 31, 2011, Bagio was tested positive for the steroid called 19-Norandrosterone, during a national race walking competition in Brazil, a year before.
