Joseph Hugh Brain (11 September 1863 – 26 June 1914) was an English cricketer. He was educated at Clifton College"Clifton College Register" Muirhead, J.A.O. p57: Bristol; J.W Arrowsmith for Old Cliftonian Society; April, 1948 and Oriel College, Oxford, and played cricket for Gloucestershire between 1883 and 1889.{{Cricinfo|id=9198|name=Joseph Brain}}{{Cricketarchive|id=4377|name=Joseph Brain}}

He became managing director of the family brewery, S. A. Brain & Co.
