Early life and education
Tanner earned an honors B.A. from SUNY Potsdam, studied at SUNY Buffalo and has a diploma from the British American Drama Academy (London and Oxford, UK). In 2021, she earned a masters degree from the University of Toronto’s Centre For Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies. She was filming Locke & Key for Netflix at that time.{{Citation needed|date=April 2024}}
Career
After moving to Canada, she began her career in film.
