Lake Ngatu is a dune lake in the Northland Region of New Zealand.{{LINZ|id=|name=|accessdate=July 23, 2009}}{{Cite web|url=https://www.nrc.govt.nz/media/9534/lakengatumanagementplanwebsite.pdf|title=Lake Ngatu Management Plan|last=|first=|date=|website=Northland Regional Council|archive-url=|archive-date=|access-date=}} It is located to the northwest of Awanui, near Waipapakauri.
Lake Ngatu has no inlets or outlets. Recreation
Lake Ngatu is a popular recreation area, and is easily accessed via West Coast Road and Sweetwater Road. Water quality and ecology
