Lake Sumner Forest Park is a {{convert|1051|km2|abbr=on}} forest park located in the Canterbury region of the South Island of New Zealand.{{cite web|url=https://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/53564-protected-areas/data/|title=Data Table - Protected Areas - LINZ Data Service|publisher=Land Information New Zealand|accessdate=2017-10-18}} It is centered around Lewis Pass and has a number of access points along State Highway 7.{{cite web|url=http://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/places-to-go/canterbury/places/lake-sumner-forest-park/|title=Lake Sumner Forest Park|publisher=Department of Conservation|accessdate=2017-10-18}} It sits in between Lewis Pass Scenic Reserve and Arthurs Pass National Park.

Hot Springs

There are numerous hot springs to be found in Lake Sumner Forest Park. One of the easiest to find is above the Hurunui river between The Hurunui Hut and No. 3 Hut.
