Lakeland County was a municipal district in northern Alberta, Canada. It existed for just over nine years from 1998 to 2007.

History

Lakeland County was originally formed as a municipal district on July 1, 1998 through the separation of lands from the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87.{{cite web | url=http://www.municipalaffairs.alberta.ca/cfml/pdf_search/pdf/DISV/0538/Lakeland_County_OC_252_98_1998_No3.pdf | title=Order in Council (O.C.) 252/98 | publisher=Province of Alberta | type=PDF | date=June 17, 1998 | accessdate=October 1, 2013}} These lands included the Alberta portion of the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range.
