Having an area of {{convert|188|km2|0|abbr=on}}, thickly wooded Lanbi is one of the largest islands of the group.
Ecology

Unconfirmed reports of the presence of Sumatran rhinoceros on Lanbi have been widely discredited.
=Important Bird Area=

2004 tsunami
