File:Mellon Arena 2008.jpg served as the Penguins' home arena from 1967 to 2010 and saw the team win the Stanley Cup three times. The Pittsburgh Penguins are a professional ice hockey team based in Pittsburgh. The franchise was established as one of six new teams in the 1967 NHL expansion and is a member of the Eastern Conference's Metropolitan Division.
