This is a list of hillside letters (also known as mountain monograms) in the U.S. state of Arizona.{{Cite book |last=Corning|first=Evelyn|title=Hillside Letters A to Z : A Guide to Hometown Landmarks|publisher=Mountain Press Publishing Company|year=2007|location=Missoula, Mont.}}{{Citation|last=Rocha|first=Guy|title=Hillside Letters: In Plain Sight But Not Intended for Planes|journal=Sierra Sage|date=June 2004|url=http://nsla.nevadaculture.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=773&Itemid=418|access-date=2011-08-09|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110722132431/http://nsla.nevadaculture.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=773&Itemid=418|archive-date=2011-07-22|url-status=dead}}{{Cite journal|last=Parsons|first=James J.|title=Hillside Letters in the Western United States|journal=Landscape|volume=30|issue=1|pages=15–23 | location = Santa Fe, N.M.|year=1988|url=http://www.deuceofclubs.com/mts/heres_why.htm|accessdate=2011-08-09}} There are at least 63 hillside letters, acronyms, and messages in the state, possibly more. Arizona's most notable monograms are likely the pair of A's for Arizona State University and the University of Arizona that are a focus of their rivalry. Arizona also has a fictional monogram, the RS for Radiator Springs in the movie Cars.
