List of mosques in Greece

{{Short description|none}}

The construction of mosques in Greece has been documented since the period of the Ottoman Empire in Greece.{{cite web |title=Old and new mosques in Greece:a new debate haunted by history |url=https://www.academia.edu/6856228 |website=academia.edu |accessdate=19 September 2020 |last1=Skoulariki |first1=Athena }} Most of the mosques listed were built in the late 14th to early 20th centuries, when parts of modern Greece were part of the Ottoman Empire.Canard (1971), pp. 1084–1085Kazhdan (1991), p. 96

Later several Christian churches throughout Greece were also converted into mosques after the Ottoman conquest, like the Hagios Demetrios church in Thessaloniki.{{cite book | title = Islam and Nationalism in Modern Greece, 1821-1940 | first = Stefanos | last = Katsikas | page = [https://books.google.com/books?id=c30_EAAAQBAJ&pg=PA13 13] | publisher = Oxford University Press | date = 2021 | isbn = 978-0-19-065200-5}} Although gradually Hagios Demetrios was converted back into a church after Greek independence and the annexation of other territories.{{cite book|page=365|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=CWMxBwAAQBAJ&pg=PA365|title=Less than Nations: Central-Eastern European Minorities after WWI|volume= 1|author=Giuseppe Motta| publisher=Cambridge Scholars Publishing|year=2013|isbn=9781443854610}}
