Maurice John Byblow (June 23, 1946 – February 11, 2020) was a Canadian politician, who represented the electoral district of Faro in the Yukon Legislative Assembly from 1978 to 1985 and from 1989 to 1996.{{cite book|title=Guide Parlementaire Canadien|author=Canada. Parliament|date=1992|publisher=Gale Canada|issn=0315-6168|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=FQfwAAAAMAAJ|accessdate=2014-11-18}}

Originally elected as an independent, Byblow joined the Yukon New Democratic Party caucus on September 16, 1981. He retired in 1985, and was succeeded by Jim McLachlan. He was re-elected to the legislature in the 1989 election, and served until 1992. He later served as an executive assistant to NDP leader Piers McDonald, and both were implicated in a conflict of interest allegation,[http://www.hansard.gov.yk.ca/28-legislature/session2/096_Mar_27_1996.html 28th Legislature, Session 2], Hansard, March 27, 1996] although both McDonald and Byblow were eventually cleared.

After retiring from politics, Byblow purchased the Capital Hotel in downtown Whitehorse in 1997, and worked as a hotelier until selling the hotel in early 2008.[http://whitehorsestar.com/archive/story/ownership-beverage-changes-brewing-at-hotel/ "Ownership, beverage changes brewing at hotel"], Whitehorse Daily Star, February 29, 2008.

Byblow died on February 11, 2020.{{cite web|url=https://yukonassembly.ca/news/maurice-byblow-passing |title=Maurice Byblow Passing | Yukon Legislative Assembly |publisher=Yukonassembly.ca |date= |accessdate=2020-02-19}}{{cite web|author=|url=http://heritagenorth.ca/obituaries/maurice-john-byblow/ |title=Maurice John Byblow | Heritage North Funeral Home |publisher=Heritagenorth.ca |date= |accessdate=2020-02-19}}
