Description

At its center, the village has a hand-painted and ornately decorated main synagogue, painted by Yitzchak Ben Yehudah.

On an uninhabited hill at the moshav center there are remains of an ancient settlement. The remains of a monastery from the Byzantine period were found as well as a mosaic floor that has been preserved almost in its entirety. Next to the remains moshav residents built a new pavilion in memory of Esh Kodesh Gilmore who was killed in a terrorist attack on 30 October 2000.{{cite news |last=Hallé |first=Charlotte |date=August 24, 2001 |title=Disproportionate Number of Anglos Slain; Olmert Praises Families' Dignity |url=https://www.haaretz.com/1.5406131 |access-date=April 25, 2019 |newspaper=Haaretz}}{{cite web |author=Alifa |date=November 2, 2000 |title=Aish Kodesh Gilmore |url=https://www.beliefnet.com/milestones/commemoration.asp?milestoneTypeID=2&milestoneID=3362 |access-date=April 25, 2019 |website=Beliefnet |publisher=Beliefnet}}
