The Mid-Atlantic District is one of 17 districts of the Barbershop Harmony Society{{cite web |url=http://www.barbershop.org/about-us/districts/ |publisher=Barbership Harmony Society |title=The 17 Districts of the Barbershop Harmony Society |access-date=January 29, 2018 }} (formerly known as SPEBSQSA or the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America).
