Murtenica (Serbian Cyrillic: Муртеница) is a mountain in western Serbia, forming the southern part of Zlatibor highland.{{cite book|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=0-Dd1-Rg4bUC&pg=PA306 |title=Serbia |page=306 |author=Laurence Mitchell |publisher=Bradt Travel Guides}} It lies near the towns of Čajetina and Nova Varoš. Its highest peak Brijač has an elevation of 1,480 meters.
