Nagpuri (or Nagpuriya) is spoken in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand state. Currently it has been classified as a dialect under Garhwali,{{Cite book|title=Linguistic Survey Of India Vol.9 Part.4|year=1916|pages=334}} belonging to the Central Pahari group (as per Grierson).
